Job Description

Contract: Rotational shifts, must be flexible around weekend work.

Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the Team Leader and / or Manager, this role requires the Operative to effectively and efficiently perform their daily work tasks to the highest level of Quality, food safety and health and safety standards, meeting all targets and reporting all issues.

The role involves the employee being an integral part of the team, working together and meeting production plans.

Must display the following key behaviours/competencies throughout role:

  • To integrate with fellow employees to form an effective, diligent, and co-operative team in a safe environment.
  • Experience in a high-volume food-manufacturing environment exercising good manufacturing practices preferred
  • Follow input setting sheets
  • Follow recipes
  • Lifting 25kilos
  • Pushing/pulling of bowls
  • Changeover requires lifting of equipment
  • The ideal candidate will be driven and ambitious
  • Work towards the company’s key goals and objectives by meeting all daily metrics
  • Good Interpersonal Skills (ability to work with people effectively)
  • Good Communication skill
  • Positive attitude
