We have a Aircraft Engine Mechanic position with our client in Dublin/Shannon , that is rapidly expanding its Aircraft Maintenance Activities on aircraft such as Airbus & Boeing
We are looking for European residents, Aircraft Engine Mechanics OR Fitters and Vehicle Mechanics, that have completed their mechancial apprenticeships that would be willing to be trained.
Ideal candidate would have:
Experience in assembly, repair & overhaul of aircraft engines; preferably CFM56
Preparation of the work by reviewing orders and drawings as well as testing and provision of production equipment
Upgrading of the components and the building site
Manufacturing and assembly of structural components and assemblies
Carrying out structural work such as drilling, riveting, countersinking, screwing or rubbing
Positioning and fixing of components
Carrying out repair work with carbon fibre composites
Implementation of surface protection work such as preservation of seal seams and rivet head applications
Documentation of the work carried out
Requirements:
Completed training as aircraft mechanic specialising in production engineering, alternatively in another occupational field with job-relevant work experience
Several years of professional experience in manufacturing/production as well as in line maintenance and mechanics
First experience in the field of structural repair and assembly
