There is an excellent opportunity for an Automation Equipment Designer to join an expanding innovative company based in Cork that supports the Electronics, Metal, Machining industries. This a great opportunity to be a part of a highly dedicated team of engineers which you will undertake plenty of technical work individually and as part of a team environment.
Duties Include:
- To liaise with stakeholders for project delivery: Customer, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
- Support and communicate effectively with the Engineer Manager with defining work packages, planning and organising automation activities.
- Modifications to design and manage design changes.
- Complete all documentation to the highest quality and oversee all acceptance testing.
- Carry out basic electrical troubleshooting when required.
- Ensure quality in projects for usability, reliability and manufacturability.
- Complete all documentation to the highest quality and oversee all acceptance testing.
Essential Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience working within Automation/Mechatronics Environment.
- Solid Works or equivalent experience required.
- Understanding of Part Building B.O.M. Manage Design Changes .
- Knowledge of Industrial Automation/Robotics.
- Production and Customer Support.
- Positive attitude towards work with a willing ness to continually learn.
- Well organised approach to work.
- Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication.
