Wright’s of Marino Manufacturing Company Ltd operate a state of the art fish factory in Howth, Dublin, which is our production and manufacturing plant for our wholesale and retail fish supply operation in Dublin and Leinster.
As Factory Manager, with factory, warehouse, and fish foods production and manufacturing management duties and responsibilities, you will be responsible for the smooth running of our fish factory operation in Howth.
Full time permanent position.
Salary per annum, Euro 34,000
39 hour week.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
Warehouse management duties: responsible for organising deliveries, storage and dispatches of goods. Supervise deliveries of goods into warehouses and ensure products are accounted for, are stored safely and securely, and are dispatched efficiently.
Factory floor management duties: Oversee aspects of the production and manufacturing process, including production planning, scheduling, and quality control. Manage a team of factory workers, including packers, filleters, fishmongers, order pickers, helping with training, and performance management. Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that the factory and it’s staff are in compliance with all relevant regulations.
Fish foods production management duties: managing the factories fishmongers, training the team, managing our company’s fishmonger SOP’s, ordering equipment when needed, ensuring fishmongers are working to company health and safety rules, ensuring product control, checking output before distribution, liaising between fishmongers and factory ownership with any arising issues.
Requirements for this job:
Experience working in fish production and processing / manufacturing.
Supervisory or Management experience in a warehouse and distribution setting.
HACCP training.
Experience supervising and managing staff.
Experience with wholesale distribution.
Factory supervisory or management experience.
