Job Description
Hughes Agriculture & Farming are looking for 2 Farm Managers to join their team in Kells, Co. Kilkenny, R95 K882. 45hrs/wk, €58,000/annum. Supervising farm activities – Managing planting, harvesting, and overall crop production; Managing labour and staff – Hiring, training, and overseeing farm workers and ensuring safety regulations are followed; Budgeting and financial management – Monitoring expenses, setting budgets, and ensuring profitability; Equipment and resource management – Overseeing the maintenance of machinery, tools, and farm infrastructure; Implementing agricultural best practices – Using modern farming techniques, ensuring soil health, pest control, and sustainable farming practices; Compliance with regulations
