Job Description
KEENANS BAR TARMONBARRY LTD is looking for a Food Quality Assurance Manager.
Annual Salary- 34000 euros
Weekly Working Hrs- 39
Job Location- Tarmonbarry, Co. Roscommon
 
Job Description-
 1. Establish and maintain robust Quality Management Systems tailored to food service industry standards, ensuring operational excellence and compliance. 2. Monitor adherence to local and international food safety regulations, including HACCP, FSAI, and EU food standards. 3. Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring readiness for inspections by regulatory authorities. 4. Draft, implement, and review quality assurance policies and procedures to align with evolving industry standards. 5. Evaluate and monitor suppliers to ensure raw materials and packaging meet established quality and safety standards. 6. Analyze customer complaints and feedback, using the data to drive improvements in food quality and service delivery. 7. Conduct risk assessments on processes, suppliers, and products, identifying potential quality issues and implementing mitigation strategies. 8. Lead training programs for staff on quality assurance protocols, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements. 9. Develop and monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of quality initiatives and ensure continuous improvement. 10. Maintain detailed records of all quality and compliance activities for regulatory audits and inspections.
Job Requirements
1. Prior Experience in quality assurance, quality control, or regulatory roles, preferably within the food service or manufacturing industry.

2. Hands-on experience managing audits and inspections by regulatory bodies.

3. Proven track record of developing and implementing quality improvement strategies.

4. Experience in training and leading teams in compliance and quality protocols.

5. Exposure to crisis management scenarios like product recalls or contamination issues.

6. Comprehensive knowledge of food safety laws, regulatory compliance requirements, and environmental standards in food services.
