Join a collaborative neurology team in Sweden

A neurology clinic in central Sweden is seeking skilled neurologists to enhance its multidisciplinary team. This outpatient-focused role offers a balanced work schedule with no on-call duties, allowing you to concentrate on delivering high-quality care to a wide spectrum of patients with neurological conditions. The clinic values collaboration and professional growth, with close integration into a neurorehabilitation team comprising occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists and other specialists.


Requirements:

  • Holds an EU-recognized specialist certification in neurology
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar neurological setting
  • Strong communication skills in English and a willingness to learn Swedish
  • Experience in outpatient neurology is a plus, with broad knowledge of various neurological conditions
  • Basic knowledge of internal medicine is desirable

Your role:

  • Managing your own outpatient clinic, assessing and treating patients with diverse neurological conditions
  • Consulting as a neurology specialist during daytime hours
  • Engaging in administrative tasks, including follow-ups, referrals, and assessments
  • Providing mentorship and supervision to junior doctors and residents, with training opportunities available for this role
  • Collaborating with the neurorehabilitation team for integrated patient care

Work schedule and environment:

  • Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30, with flexible hours before and after shifts
  • No weekend or holiday work
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Opportunities to participate in video consultations for remote patient care
