On behalf of a modern and well-equipped hospital in Østfold, Eastern Norway, we are currently recruiting a specialist in geriatrics for a full-time, permanent position.
The hospital has one of the largest emergency departments in Norway and offers services across a wide range of medical fields – including maternity care, medical and surgical departments and psychiatry. The position is part of a well-established geriatrics department with a strong focus on quality of care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continuous development.
Main responsibilities:
- Assessment, treatment, and follow-up of geriatric patient
- Collaborating with fellow consultants and interdisciplinary teams
- Contributing to continuous improvement and development of services
Qualifications:
- Authorization to practice as a medical doctor within the EU
- EU certification as a specialist in geriatrics
- Experience from hospital work is preferred
- Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate across disciplines
- Proficiency in English and motivation to learn Norwegian, supported by our free language course
