A small hospital located in a scenic archipelago is now looking for a specialist in rehabilitation medicine to join its dedicated and multidisciplinary team. This is a unique opportunity to practice meaningful, patient-centered care while enjoying a balanced and nature-connected lifestyle.


About the role

As a rehabilitation medicine specialist, you will work with the assessment, treatment, and follow-up of patients with various physical disabilities, often resulting from neurological conditions, musculoskeletal injuries, or chronic pain. You will collaborate closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and other specialists.

The position offers both inpatient and outpatient work and allows you to tailor parts of your role to your own clinical interests. There are also opportunities to contribute to the development of rehabilitation services within the department.

  • Working hours: 38.5 hours/week
  • Salary: Competitive, individually negotiated

Requirements:

  • Holds an EU-recognized specialist certification in rehabilitation medicine
  • Has at least 2 years of experience as a specialist
  • Broad clinical experience with neurorehabilitation, musculoskeletal injuries or chronic pain management
  • Comfortable working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Interested in contributing to the ongoing development of services and patient care
