We are looking for pathologists with experience and interest in hematopathology, breast, gastrointestinal, or prostate pathology to a leading university hospital in southern Sweden. About the role
As a pathologist, you will be part of an advanced and forward-thinking team. General pathology skills are essential, but you will primarily focus on two subspecialties based on your expertise and interests.
Your daily work will include case reporting, grossing, and participating in multidisciplinary conferences alongside clinical colleagues. Independent case reporting experience is highly valued, and the department offers a well-structured, quality-oriented environment.
Digital tools and emerging technologies, including AI, are integrated into daily workflows. You will also have opportunities to engage in research, quality improvement initiatives, and case discussions with both local and international peers.
Who we’re looking for
- EU-recognized specialist certification in pathology
- Strong competence in general pathology
- Significant experience in independent diagnostic reporting
- Subspecialty interest or experience in at least two of the following areas:
– Hematopathology
– Breast pathology
– Gastrointestinal pathology
– Prostate pathology - Experience or additional training in cytology is considered an advantage
- Interest in digital pathology and new technologies
- Team-oriented with a structured and quality-focused work approach
