Job Description
GP Retailing DRUM Ltd. t/a Centra Drumcondra require a Systems and Operations Strategist. Responsibilities of the role include to oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards; Supervise and support branch staff, ensuring optimal scheduling, task delegation, and alignment with operational goals; Monitor branch performance, including sales targets, staff productivity, and customer satisfaction, and provide actionable feedback for improvement; Foster a collaborative, customer-focused environment that drives a culture of excellence and accountability; Collaborate with external IT technicians to maintain and enhance IT systems, such as POS platforms and inventory management tools; Ensure seamless integration of new system features and provide training to staff for smooth adoption; Identify opportunities to optimize existing systems and workflows to enhance performance and efficiency; Monitor system performance, providing feedback for further optimization; Use data analysis tools such as SQL and Excel to monitor branch performance metrics, including sales trends, inventory turnover, and customer behavior; Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights to senior management for data-driven decision-making; Analyze customer feedback data to identify areas for service improvement and operational enhancements; Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction through efficient service delivery and well-organized branch operations; Ensure that staff are trained to handle customer interactions professionally and efficiently, enhancing the branch environment; Ensure the branch is welcoming, clean, and conducive to a positive shopping experience; Work with the inventory team to maintain accurate stock levels and ensure timely replenishment; Support inventory audits and recommend adjustments based on sales trends and customer demands; Collaborate with suppliers and the inventory team to ensure alignment with local demand; Assess workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements; Implement process changes that adhere to organizational standards, preparing the branch for potential expansion; Document best practices and develop scalable processes for broader operational scope.
Job Requirements
Role Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; 3+ years industry specific experience; Strong expertise in data analysis, including proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel, to support data-driven decision-making and operational improvements; Experience in systems optimization and process improvement in operational environments; Strong problem-solving skills for identifying and addressing operational and technical challenges; Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to lead teams, mentor staff, and collaborate cross-functionally; Familiarity with retail technology systems, including POS platforms and inventory management tools.
Remuneration: 34,000 p.a.
