Irish homecare was established in 2005 by former carer Sally Murtagh. Sally was a Care assistant with the NHS in Northern Ireland when she noticed a need for residential carers’ in her home county of Monaghan. Sally had a clear vision on how home and community care should look and so set about the long process of setting up a company that’s main focus was the clients’ personal care. Alongside this Sally wanted to make it possible that her care workers’ would be able to pursue a professional career in the newly emerging Health care and Social Care Sector in Ireland.
Since then Irish Homecare has went from strength to strength, growing to provide Health care and community care to 12 counties throughout the Northeast and east of Ireland. We employ 500+ care assistants on full time and part time bases, who provide a range of personal and social residential care to our clients. We have offices in Dublin, Tullamore and our head office in Monaghan, were our operations support our team of care workers.
